Trial and Error-- Building a Blog is Hard Work
So, this is my first attempt at a blog, a real one. I've used pens and scraps of paper and notebooks for years, since I was a child; I've kept them- filled them until there was no longer room. I've even used social sites, like Livejournal, far longer than I had realized. All in the hopes of writing something that was meaningful, perhaps something that others could relate to, and look at and say, "wow, I was thinking that just the other day." So now, I'm jumping at the chance, albeit, a few years late, to express all the things I've ever been thinking. Specifically, all the things I've come across in books, sentences that my imagination almost couldn't contain, or language so perfected that I found my eyes welling with tears. This blog is a means of sharing those captured phrases and ideas, highlighted in the worn copies of my beloved bound friends, while also giving me an opportunity to meet others that want to share what literature means to their soul. This is my first entry, and I feel really good about it. I hope to meet many interested individuals that can open my eyes as wide as any work of fiction can.

"those captured phrases and ideas, highlighted in the worn copies of my beloved bound friends" I love how you put that.
