  1. That's what I call an effective shopping session. Hats off!

  2. Good work! I've never read any of those but they look like great titles.

  3. Beth, after reading the sample of "Memory Wall" on my nook, I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy it.
Also, somehow I've never gone book thrifting at Goodwill...you've inspired me.

  4. Ben & Brenna- Sometimes I am amazed at the books I find at goodwill. So cheap and exciting to search for great titles.

Brent- I loved Memory Wall. Some stories are better than others, but that's how it goes. His style is so beautiful. Let me know what you think.

  5. Wow, you've got a great Goodwill. Mine always has junk...romance novels and sci-fi paperbacks from 30 years ago and the random fad diet book. Looks like you did well, though!

  6. Chelle- Oh, trust me. There are plenty of trips that end with that same observation. I really did luck out this time. Fortunately, there are several thrift stores in my area, in addition to the fact that I work for a non-profit that is affiliated with thrift stores in the Atlanta area. Just keep your fingers crossed- you never know when you'll get lucky!

  7. Good work. Looks like someone's a Trollope fan. I've read his mother, Frances, but somehow haven't got around to Anthony. I should get on that. Let us know how they work out.

  8. One of these will serve as an introduction to the highly recommended Trollope. I will certainly share my opinion.
